This project consisted of a visual and structural redesign of a news portal. The client was insatisfied with the old news portal and wanted a new one that was interactive, modern and intuitive. I worked actively with the client and the devs involved being responsible for the UI/UX Design part and participating in the interviews with stakeholders until the final delivery of the mockup and Q&A.

I was part of a squad containing Product Manager and developers whose goal was to produce a 11 pages news portal from scratch. From the creation of the interface to the implementation of the code. The project as a whole had an estimated duration of 3 months and 1.5 months for the UI/UX part.
As a brand with several bright colors present in their brand identity, it was particularly challenging to build visually accessible components.
Therefore, I did several contrast tests to ensure that all color combinations were respecting the minimum contrast to garantee visual accessibility.
A total of 11 interactive pages were created in the desktop & mobile versions. The prototype made it possible to predict how the elements would behave as well as the animated interactions.

As the News Portal has relevant amount of readers using both mobile and desktop device, a concern throughout the project was to garantee a frictionless, intuitive and interactive navigation in all devices.
